Bridgette Moss, owner of Healthy Toddlers Care, has nearly two decades of success as a business and marketing professional. She has an outstanding track record helping a diverse list of clients generate revenue. As a childcare provider she understands families are more than just clients, often forming the deep bonds of an extended family. She knows client interactions and “business intelligence” impact both sides of these extended families, as well as the childcare business.

 

Susan Scanlan's -  Senior Editor

Susan Scanlan’s experience in education stretches from early childhood through adults. Working with public, private and charter schools, she has worked as an instructor and administrator, including leadership in the attainment of ACCET and WASC accreditation approval. As a business entrepreneur, Susan has worked in multiple industries, providing bookkeeping, human resources, marketing and general management services. Her background allows her to write about all aspects of childcare with authority, while personalizing her material to reflect the strengths of each provider.

Hi! My name is Heather and I am a native of Jacksonville, FL. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of North Florida in 2013. I’ve always been interested in writing and editing. My hobbies include cuddling up with a good book and spending time with my family. I joined the Healthy Toddlers Care Editing Team because I can put my skills and knowledge in the English language to good use, helping parents establish healthy life habits for their children.

Kelechi Nkemdilim has extensive experience providing a variety of marketing and graphic design services to small and large business. Nkemdilim excels at delivering graphics designed to capture and engage a targeted market. A student of the Nigerian Institute of Information Technology (NIIT), Nkemdilim’s corporate experience in Africa includes managing the media department for Word Ablaze Missions International.

 

Gabriel Alfaro - Web Development and Tech Support

Gabriel Alfaro is a front and back end web developer. What does this mean? The “front end” is the part of the web you see and interact with. The “back end” consists of a server, an application and a database. A back end developer builds all this technology to work together. Alfaro’s passion for front and back end technology led him to develop multiple skill sets dedicated to building websites that deliver a broad audience to clients across a variety of industries, while providing the statistical information business managers need to fine tune marketing campaigns. Alfaro’s expertise includes HTML, CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, PHP, multiple content managing systems as well as Google, Bing and Facebook analytics and advertising strategies. Alfaro is highly regarded for his ability to deliver solutions in a cost effective and timely manner.

 

Julee Chang - Childcare Photographer

As a child, Julee loved looking through family photo albums. As she grew older, she instinctively began to capture memories of her friends, family and special events on film. Just before her marriage, Julee got her first Canon DSLR. Continuing to gravitate to children and families in her photography, Julee mastered her artistic vision. Using natural light and settings, Julee’s candid images have an authenticity that is both engaging and moving. Julee has also carved out an exclusive niche as San Diego’s premier childcare photographer. Her skill at catching captivating expressions and conveying the distinct energy of a childcare home or center are a unique skill. Julee’s school portraits and yearbooks are destined to become treasured family heirlooms!
