A Message from Our Director
Bridgette Moss, Director of Operations
Dear Families,
I am writing to request your immediate assistance with a new state-mandated requirement. California has recently enacted AB 495 (The Family Preparedness Plan Act). This law is designed to protect your child's stability by ensuring we have an exhaustive list of your chosen emergency contacts and clear instructions on who is authorized to care for your child if you are temporarily unavailable.
Why this is important:
- • It ensures we have your most current "Caregiver's Authorization" on file.
- • It confirms that we have exhausted all your personal contacts before any other measures are taken.
- • Completion is mandatory to keep our records compliant with California Department of Social Services licensing.
Once you submit, the system will send a copy to our office for our secure records. Thank you for your partnership in keeping our scholars safe and supported.
Warmly,
Bridgette Moss
Director of Operations, Healthy Toddlers Care
